 online ,social and participatory media  How has online news affected print news ? online news has been affected from the easy accsesablity  and fast upkeep with current events - this particuary atracts the digital generation who want a faster speed of news therefor atracting  reduntant ( loosing job as they are not nessesary for the same news media)  convergence ( multiple media on one device -eg my computer) inderpendant has gone from print to only online due to less physical copys brought  making it too expensive to product  use of sensational exaggerated ( often in the headline)  calims - making  people jump to the story - due to intriuge  people would much rater see things about food and sport and lifestyle -due to our short attention spans and instant engadegment  Observer online follows the structure of its print edition, but there is far more prominence on lifestyle, food and sport stories.
